one of the most beautiful things about life is the opportunity to write our own story. at the end of another year, what chapter are you on?
a wandering soul trying to dance in the rain;
a love story nearing its happily ever after;
a career man turned family man
– we’re all living a beautifully different chapter.
chapters begin, and chapters end. they begin in order to teach us things about ourselves we didn’t know we needed to learn, and they close to encourage us to, in turn, become the teacher. for some, it’s the moments when the fog is lifting that true clarity is found. for others, we are blessed with the gift of making good choices, and we find ourselves in a constant state of pure bliss.
and then there’s the chapters in between…
not quite there, but having faith in a bigger master plan, it’s those who have not yet landed on their forever chapter that live with an abundance of contagious optimism. if you’re lucky enough to meet someone who is choosing to be good, give good and live good every day, keep them close and wander on.
whether you’re finding strength to close a chapter, just about to start a new one, or perfectly content with where you are, be grateful for the lessons you have learned.
today, make your goals, write them down, and then read them again in july. if anything in 2014, we encourage you to meet people and attract things that make you laugh. at philosophy, lighthearted fulfillment is what our 2014 is all about.
